Today I bring you to Alex and Erin’s wedding. These two have got to be the sweetest couple alive. Erin has the most infectious laugh and Alex is a quiet guy who so very clearly loves the heck out of Erin. They met on the East Coast in Nova Scotia which has a huge chunk of both of their hearts, they even named their dog Nova! They wed and held the reception at “The Mill” in Cobourg, Ont. It’s a golf course with the most adorable old stone building for the most intimate wedding. Alex got ready off site while Erin used the upstairs of the venue to get ready with her girls. The lighting was to die for up there, just the most angelic glow for pictures. They snacked on fruits and veggies and sipped on mimosas. The bride zipped her brides maids up one by one and as she got her dress on and zipped up, she was fed like a princess grapes off the vine. Mom watched her daughter turn into a bride with such pride in her eyes, and even though she saw the whole thing unfold she couldn’t help but shed some tears. Mom stayed close by as Erin put the finishing touches on- earrings, necklace and a spritz of her favorite perfume, Chanel Chance.
The ceremony was under an arbor that Alex built for his special bride, under big maple trees on the golf course property. As Erin made the long walk toward her Groom, there wasn’t one dry eye- groom included, love was overflowing from all the friends and family who attended. As they said their I do’s and exchanged the rings it was done, a long awaited fairy tale had come to life. For the Bridal party photos we jumped in golf carts 2 by two, to drive around the course to find some amazing little spots for photos, chasing the sun, hiding from it and everything in between. The bridal party was full of laughs and one of the best bride tribes I have seen, all friends that live miles apart there for one reason. I make a point to say this, as I often run into bridal parties that are not “on point” and stress out the bride and groom rather then help! Lol
The epic dance off into the reception is always a great laugh, the shuffle, twirls, bum bunts, always a mystery who’s gonna pull out the best move. Enter the bride and groom and into the first dance- I swear there was nobody else in the room to them, they look at each other with so much admiration to last their lifetime. Don’t get me started on the parent dances, they were just as emotional so I’ll let the photo speak for themselves. This may have been one of my favorite receptions to date, because Erin laughed so much during speeches and everything else the photos make me smile every single time I look at them. Oh, and I don’t want to forget that good friends of theirs were doggy sitting and sent them the sweetest photo it’s a must see. I could go on with details but Honestly, The photos tell a way better story then I ever could with words… Here’s to a life time of love and laughs you two- I simply can’t wait for your next milestone!
